Where is it?

The event is at MSR, Sheba's large, brand-new training and simulation center, on the Sheba Medical Center campus in Ramat Gan. Map: MSR / Sheba location.

Is parking available?

Yes. Parking is 25 NIS. There is a lot next to MSR. If it is full, there are several other visitor lots within a short walk on the Sheba campus.

Do I need to confirm attendance?

Yes. Please use your GameDev / HaMeshek link to confirm attendance, update your team status, and make sure your contact information is current. If you do not have your personal link, start here: gamedev.co.il/game-jams/sheba-2026/register.

Teams And Challenges

Do I need a team before arriving?

No. You can come with a team or join one through the GameDev team dashboard. If you already have a team, update it there so organizers can see who is still looking.

How do teams choose a challenge?

Teams can review the challenge pages before the event, talk with clinicians at kickoff, and choose a direction early Sunday. Clinicians are encouraged to be available near the beginning because teams make decisions quickly.

Can a team bring its own idea?

Yes, if it fits the healthcare-game scope and can benefit from clinician input. The strongest projects usually connect to one of the published challenge areas or to a clear clinical need from Sheba.

Are there special hardware or room-access tracks?

Some projects may need extra setup, such as the immersive rehab room, simulation hardware, or specific clinical references. If your team wants to work with special hardware, the immersive room, Unity / web / editor access, or another unusual setup, tell Sam before the jam so access can be arranged.

During The Jam

What should I bring?

Bring your laptop, charger, headphones, and whatever you normally use for development, design, art, sound, writing, or production. If you plan to work late or rest onsite, bring what you need to be comfortable.

Will there be food?

Yes. Food and drinks will be provided during the jam.

Can I stay overnight?

The jam runs overnight for teams that want to keep working. Bring a sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, or anything else you need to rest comfortably.

Where will communication happen?

Discord is the main place for pre-event team formation, challenge questions, and advisor Q&A. Join here: discord.gg/BrSyxg9KNR.

Clinicians And Advisors

Do clinicians need to stay for the whole jam?

No. The most useful time to be onsite is near the beginning on Sunday, when teams choose directions and need clinical context. After that, clinicians can be available by email, phone, Discord, WhatsApp, or brief check-ins.

What do clinicians actually do?

Clinicians help teams understand the real workflow, patient or staff need, safety constraints, what is clinically wrong or useful, and what would make a prototype worth continuing after the jam.

Will there be judging?

Teams will have demo time Monday from 17:00–18:00 so everyone can see what was built. Formal judging will take place in the days after the jam.

What happens after the jam?

Judging will take place in the days following the jam, with expert clinicians and game designers reviewing the projects.

The top games will be showcased to thousands of clinicians and healthcare leaders at the Sheba ARC Summit in Tel Aviv on Thursday. After that, ARC and Sam will sit down with promising teams to figure out next steps: testing with doctors and patients at Sheba, commercialization, and possible investment opportunities through Sheba and beyond.
